Joining and setting up your profile
The login guide covers signup in one step: Visit the website www.PositiveSingles.com using your desktop or mobile phone browser and click on the ‘Sign Up’ button. Fill in your basic details, including your email address, username, and password.
The profile then asks for an STD status, Specify your STD status, such as herpes(HSV1, HSV2), HIV, HPV, hepatitis, or others.

and, under About Match, what you want back: State what you’re looking for in a partner in the ‘About Match’ section.
Photos go into a public or private album, by your choice: Upload your photos to either your public album or private album. You can add them to private album and share them with selected members only if you’re not ready to make them public.
You get the free standard membership: You become a free member when you join our site. This standard membership allows you to create a profile, add up to 26 public photos and 26 private photos, search for people by country and state, and send free winks!
Finding people
Discover is the main search tool: Discover allows you to specify the types of member profiles you want to see. You can conduct an unlimited number of searches by selecting the preferences and characteristics of your desired match. Start with gender, age and location. Then narrow your search with physical characteristics, lifestyle practices, and relationship desires. Play around and try a variety of searches. You never know where you’ll find your perfect match!
Flame is closer to a stack of photos than a search form: ‘Flame’ offers a quick and easy way to find potential matches by showing you their photos. You can either like them or skip them.
A match notifies both people: When you are using ‘Flame’, if you and another member both slide each other’s photos into the ‘heart’ pile, then we’ll let both of you know by sending a notification email.
A skip just moves on: If either of you slides the photo to the ‘X’ pile, nothing happens – choosing not to heart someone doesn’t mean they’re hidden from you forever.
Gallery works much like Discover: ‘Gallery’ lets you specify the types of profiles you want to view. You can perform an unlimited number of searches by selecting the preferences and characteristics of your ideal match.
Distance search sits inside Discover: Please click on ‘Search’ under ‘DISCOVER’ in the top navigation bar, then select an area under Location. Once selected, the distance adjustment bar will appear, allowing you to set your preferred range.
Premium extends the range: Upgrade to premium to unlock more distance search options.
Open Discover first, not Flame. It starts from gender, age and location and narrows from there, which matters more than swipe speed past the first few profiles.
Making contact
A wink is the lightest way to reach out: A wink is a quick, fun, and flirty way to let someone know you’re interested. Pick one of our witty canned responses from the list and send it to the member of your choice. The member gets the wink in their ‘Chats’ and then can go to your profile and wink back if they want.
How many depends on account age: Standard members who signed up for less than 3 days can send up to 20 free winks per day.
After that: Standard members who signed up for more than 3 days can send up to 40 free winks per day.
With Premium: premium members can send unlimited winks per day.
Messages carry one limit worth knowing: No. Standard Members cannot start new conversations. However, you can reply to messages from a premium MEMBER at no additional cost. Messaging remains available as long as at least one person in the conversation has an active Premium membership.
A free account can reply to a Premium member’s message but cannot start a conversation with anyone.
When someone reaches out, you’ll know: You’ll get notified in your Chats when somebody winks at you or sends you a message.
Answering costs nothing: You’re also able to respond to messages sent to you by premium members.
Groups, blogs and the community features
Groups covers the platform’s topic communities: Easily create a group on a topic or an interest so that members sharing the same interest can hang out. You can also apply to join the existing topic groups.

Blogs, in its own words: Blogs are a great way to tell people more about yourself and to get to know potential matches. Post and discuss your thoughts, comment on blogs, meet more potential partners, and engage with the community in a meaningful way!

Staying private
The free tier has 3 visibility controls: Hide my current location, Hide me from all members, and Browse profiles anonymously, read from Settings › Privacy and visibility on September 21, 2026. Premium adds 11 more: visibility by gender or shared diagnosis, age and region, and whether your online status or Moments activity shows.
Two notes matter more than the list: Premium-only settings will be restored to default when your Premium Membership expires.
The other: You can pause your account to hide your profile and photos from others without deleting your account.

What costs money
Sending the first message is the one thing a free account cannot do at all. Several features above have a free version instead: Premium lifts the wink limit, widens the distance search, and adds 11 more privacy controls.
